I been performing on stage since I was 12. I graduated from Macalester College with a BA, where I created her own Major in Dance Theater in 1999. In 2002 I earned my MFA in Acting from CalArts. I have extensive training in voice, Ballet, Modern Dance, Mask Improvisation, Bhuto, Aerial Arts, Suzuki, and is a 200 hr Moksha Certified Yoga Instructor where I developed an Archetypal Based Yoga Sequencing Method for Actors.
As an actress, I have performed as Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing, Clark in The Resistable Rise of Arturo Ui, Inana in Fantasy Island, Daydream Cleavage Too near, Too Near, the Duchess in Duchess of Malfi (Jeff Recommended*), Harriet Panini in Cookie Play*, Girl in Blood on The Cat's Neck*(Trap Door) Narrator in Stadium Devildare (Red Tape) Canary Mary in Fucking A*(Urban Theatre Co.) Estrella in Life as a Dream* (Vitalist) Gertrude inHamletmacine (Trap Door) Sirah in Zero and The Woman Scotland Road (Oracle Theater) and the One-Woman production of Le Liste for Premiere Theatre's International Voices and the Alta conference. I have also performed in New York City, LA, and London in multiple shows from American Magic directed by Matthew Wilder, to King Lear directed by Travis Preston, and The Tempest directed by Edward Taylor.
I have also worked as a movement director/ choreographer on the critically acclaimed productions of Measure for Measure (Alchemical Theatre Co.), Gross Indecency (Promethean Theatre) No Beast So Fierce, The Mother,* Woyzeck,* and Blood Wedding (Oracle), Dance Party at the End of the World(Walkabout Theater) Three Graces (Pivot Arts Festival), and Hamletmachine, No Darkness Round My Stone, The Unconquered, Me Too I'm Catherine Denuvre, and Anger/Fly (Trap Door). I directed Box and Cox for the Bucktown Arts Festival, and Philip Marlowe and The Hairpin Turn, and Gunsmoke for Oracle Outreach and annual Radio Goggles performance. A founding company member of Filament Theater Co. in LA, and Associate Company Member/ Casting Director for Oracle Theatre Company since 2007. I am now currently working not only as an actress but also as a freelance Casting Director, Real Estate Broker, proud company member of Trap Door Theater, and most importantly as a wife and mother.
